Pond 4 Match Lake

Pond 4 is the Clubs bespoke Match Lake situated at Melton Ponds where the Club holds several matches, the Lake is rectangler with a island along the middle and has 21 swims and is mainly stocked with Carp.

The lake has been re-stocked over the last 2 years with carp between 2 & 3lb.

Pond 4 Match Rules

No surface fishing, floating baits or floating loose feed. 

No slapping, over-shotted rigs or floating pole.

Barbless hooks only, maximum size 10.

No boilies, nuts, beans or particles except hemp. 

Ground bait can be used in feeders or cupping in, maximum 1kg.

No fixed leads, ledger rigs must be carp safe. 

Maximum of 50lb per keepnet.

All Fish must be placed from landing net to keep net.

The Roadside gate must be closed after all anglers have arrived and Pond 4 gate must be kept shut whilst fishing.

Both gates must be locked with the code scrambled after the end of the Match. 

Please ensure no litter is left.
